Every project across Birmingham undertaken by our scaffolding contractors starts with planning and preparation to create a safe and correct method of works, as we regard the safety of our staff and all involved the highest of our priorities. With each scaffolding project comes its own challenges in regards to safety, our scaffolding contractors will create a tailor made road map and plan to prevent any unnecessary risks throughout the whole project.

Whist we provide access solutions on your project we can guarantee to achieve the highest level of both health and safety, we do this by following both governing body guidelines and our own experience based guidelines which have served us in the past and will continue to serve us in the future when undertaking scaffolding contract projects for our diverse range of clients.

Due to the nature of scaffolding contractor work and the fact that there are potential dangers, there are a number of points that need to be considered in order to maintain high levels of safety at all times, for both workers and those in surrounding areas. Utilising a health and safety checklist will ensure nothing is missed and all scaffolding risks are managed.

These include the following:

  • Fall prevention

  • Slips, trips and falls

  • Collapses

  • Electrocution

  • Being struck by falling objects

  • Effects of weather

  • Ground conditions

Whatever the project, we guarantee that all of our employees based in Birmingham will use the correct PPE at all times during your scaffolding contract project. These include head protection, non-slip footwear, and fall protection such as harnesses. This equipment dramatically reduces the chance of scaffolding accidents. Our scaffolding contract operatives are required to wear five-point PPE and tethered tools at all times:

  • Hard Hat

  • Hi-Vi

  • Harness & Lanyard

  • Gloves

  • Safety Boots
